What are wheel bearings?

Symptoms of faulty wheel bearings

Noises: The wheel bearings consist of steel balls bound to make noise. But, if the driver hears noises that weren't present before, that could be an issue that needs immediate attention. In addition, faulty bearings grinding on each other can cause the wheels to not turn smoothly.

Sensation of grinding: If the driver gets a sensation of grinding as the car is moving, then there is something wrong with the wheel system. That could mean that the wheel bearings are faulty.
