Former NSK President & CEO Otsuka Norio was awarded the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star to honor his contributions to the advancement of industry in Japan and globally.

It is a great honor for me to be bestowed with this prestigious award. I would like to express my gratitude and respect to all the employees who worked hard alongside me to develop our business, which contributed to the advancement of industry and realizing more prosperous livelihoods in communities around the world. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all friends and business partners for their warm guidance and support during my time leading the company.

Since joining the company, I have been striving to contribute to society through our business and have focused on the globalization of the bearing industry as a primary means to achieve this. My colleagues at NSK and I will continue to do our best to further develop the NSK Group and enhance our efforts to create a sustainable society for future generations.
