Suzuki Motor Gujarat restarts production from May 25

SMG manufactures cars on a contract basis for Maruti Suzuki India.
Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) on Monday said Suzuki Motor Gujarat (SMG) has restarted production of vehicles, from May 25, 2020.
The company has been informed by SMG, that the resumption is strictly in accordance with the Government regulations and guidelines and by observing the Company's own concern for the highest standards of safety, MSI said in a regulatory filing.
SMG manufactures cars on a contract basis for MSI.
Maruti Suzuki India, country's largest carmaker, said late on Saturday one employee at its plant in the northern city of Manesar had tested positive and there was the possibility of a second case.
