Schaeffler confirms illness of an employee with coronavirus in Bühl

The Schaeffler Group confirms that one of the company's employees at the Bühl site has contracted the coronavirus. The affected person is under medical treatment. Schaeffler is in contact with the employee and his family. The sick employee is the first Schaeffler employee to test positive for the coronavirus.
The employee has been on sick leave since February 27 and has not been with the company since. Potential contacts were identified and sent home. So far, none of them have complaints.
The long absence of the employee and the fact that his colleagues have no symptoms can be assessed positively. This primarily concerns a possible further risk of infection.
Schaeffler continuously informs all employees about the measures taken.
